Education for All: CPM’s Training Programs for Vulnerable Individuals

Christ Power Ministries (CPM) is a non-profit charity and community-based organization located in Nabidogha, Iganga Municipality, Eastern Uganda. We believe that education is key to a better future. That’s why we have special training programs to help vulnerable individuals get the education they need.

Helping Orphans and Street Children

Many children in our community have lost their parents or live on the streets. CPM provides these children with education and a safe place to learn. We offer classes and tutoring to help them catch up on their studies. We also provide school supplies like books, uniforms, and bags.

Supporting Teenage Mothers

Teenage mothers often face many challenges, including continuing their education. CPM offers special training programs for these young mothers. We provide them with the skills they need to take care of their children and themselves. We also help them continue their education so they can build a better future.

Training for the Disabled

CPM believes that everyone deserves a chance to learn, including individuals with disabilities. We offer training programs that are tailored to their needs. These programs help them learn new skills and become more independent. For example, we teach skills like tailoring, beadwork, and computer basics.

Vocational Training

Many people in our community need practical skills to find work. CPM offers vocational training in areas like carpentry, tailoring, and farming. These skills help individuals start their own businesses or find good jobs. For example, John learned carpentry through our program and now runs his own workshop.

Education for Women

Women often have fewer opportunities for education. CPM provides training programs specifically for women to help them learn new skills and gain confidence. We offer classes in areas like sewing, baking, and small business management. This helps women support their families and improve their lives.

Adult Education

Some adults in our community did not have the chance to go to school when they were young. CPM offers adult education programs to help them learn to read, write, and do basic math. This education helps them in their daily lives and opens up new opportunities.
