Born from a Vision, Fueled by Compassion

Christ Power Ministries (CPM) emerged in 2020, driven by a vision to empower and uplift vulnerable communities within the Iganga District, particularly in Nabidongha ward. We are a registered charity organization, recognized by the Office of Community Development and equipped with a dedicated team passionate about serving those in need.

Our Core Values:

• God’s Presence: Acknowledging and experiencing God’s active presence in worship and daily life. We firmly believe that His Word (the Bible) is real and relevant to our lives. We believe that Jesus is as present with us as He was with His disciples throughout the pages of the New Testament; thus, we believe He will heal, deliver, and speak.
• Worship: Believing that worship is a lifestyle and doesn’t just happen when we sing in corporate worship. Our way of living is a reflection of our inner values.
• Outreach: Understanding that Luke 19:10 tells us that Jesus came to seek and to save that which is lost. We need to be out there among the lost, actively seeking to bring the message of Jesus. We long for His presence to be among us. This will have a dramatic influence on the lost. He said, “when I am lifted up, I will draw all men unto me.”
• Community: Believing that the local church is to function as a family (see Acts 2:42-47). We should be constantly looking out for one another and seeking to meet each other’s needs in any way we can. We see true Christian community as loving our neighbors as ourselves. The word “neighbor” is all-inclusive—from our family and friends to those trapped in lifestyles of addictions. We long to see the transforming power of Jesus reach out to all humanity (see Luke 5:30).
• Discipleship: In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus told us what the goal of all this was: “to make disciples.” It is our hope that those who are more mature in the Lord will reach out to those who are newborns and seekers. If we pour ourselves into a few people, we could one day “turn the world upside down” (Acts 17:6).

Our Mission

A community where the greater percentage has biblical knowledge and can confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. We at Christ Power Ministries believe that the more we preach and spread the gospel of Christ Jesus, as commanded by Him (Matthew 28:19-20), the more believers we shall gain for the Kingdom for eternity. Our core mission pillars include:

• Children’s Ministry: Providing a safe haven, educational opportunities, and spiritual guidance to vulnerable children.
• Outreach Programs: Organizing outreaches, conferences, and seminars to uplift spirits, spread the gospel message, and address practical needs.
• Community Development: Partnering with local initiatives and residents to promote sustainable development and improve living conditions.
